I don’t know how she pronounces it. I’ve always thought Ry-ann to myself when I see it but that could be wrong, especially if it has a French pronounciation. Then again I always think Claude said the normal English way and not the way he really pronounces it. Personally I am terrible at names and knowing how to say them correctly, I’ve read books before where I said names wrong in my mind the entire time, haha. I once attempted to listen to a book on tape recording of a book with a bunch of French names (I think it was the Count of Monte Cristo) and then I tried to read it and was like WTF I don’t recognize any of these names and stopped reading because it was too hard. Needless to say, I don’t know any French and most of the Spanish I know, I picked up talking to Mexican Americans so I don’t know how to spell anything.
